Our Quality Wine

The University Club of Toronto Wine Circle is comprised of Club members who share a common enthusiasm for wine.

Our regular wine tastings are held approximately once per month (excluding July and August). Each tasting focuses on a particular wine-related theme, and is intended to provide an engaging and educational experience for Club members and their guests.

Each member of the Club is also a member of the UCT Wine Club, to whom specially selected private wine orders are made available several times per year. Please see the Members portion of this site to view special offers that are currently available to the Wine Club. (Sign in with your username and password to access the Members' portion of the site).

We have been fortunate to host a number of prominent guest speakers at the Wine Circle. Guests have included Luc Bouchard of Bouchard Pere et Fils, Christian Pol-Roger of Champagne Pol Roger, Clive Coates MW, and Comte Alexandre de Lur Saluces of Château d'Yquem, Alain Dugas of Château La Nerthe, Serge Lesveque from Dourthe wines, David Campbell CEO of Clos du Val from the Napa Valley, Bernard de Laage de Meux of Château Palmer, Bruce Tyrrell of Tyrrells Winery in Australia, Didier Depond of Champagne Salon, Miguel Jardim of Henriques & Henriques, Louis-Fabrice Latour of Louis Latour, Ernst Loosen of Dr. Loosen, Huyshe Bower of Taylor Fladgate Ports, John Kolasa from Chateau Rauzan Segla and Daniel Rion from Rion et Fils, Angelo Gaja and Rainer Lingenfelder, came back to the Club this year.
