The University Club of Toronto provides elegant ambiance and superb service throughout its attractive Club house, offering formal and casual dining venues, in addition to a number of private function rooms for special social occasions or for business groups.
Overnight accommodations are located on the top floor of the clubhouse, where members and guests can book queen or twin bedded rooms, or queen suites. These overnight facilities are open throughout the year, and rates can be viewed at the submenu to the right.
The Club also offers members and guests a Fitness, Lifestyle and Sports Centre. The Club houses a North-American style squash court, a state of the art fitness centre, weight room and aerobics studio that opened in September 2003 and men's and women's locker rooms and sports lounge. Steam facilities are located in the locker rooms. A full brochure on the Fitness Centre is available on the main menu of the site, listing the services offered.
In addition to the athletic facilities on site, the Club also has an arrangement with Markland Wood Golf Club to permit occasional play, and with Ballantrae Golf Club in Aurora, providing discounts to its members and guests who wish to play golf. For a special yearly fee, University Club members may elect to sign on for an International Club Network membership which will give them access to an additional 300 premier golfing, skiing and country and city clubs worldwide.
The Club offers a varied programme of Club events. These special activities illustrate the diversity of events offered throughout the year. The Member's Home page calendar gives details of upcoming events and allows members to book for any function on line. Guests from affiliated clubs are welcome to attend most of these programmes, and members are encouraged to bring family and friends out to enjoy these special occasions.
