Special Golfing Privileges

The University Club members have a special affiliation with Markland Wood Golf Club, located at 245 Markland Drive in Etobicoke, on the border between Etobicoke and Mississauga. 

Members can golf up to six times a year on this course which offers spectacular conditions in a peaceful location just minutes from downtown along the Etobicoke Creek (running north and south of Bloor Street). 

Markland Wood offers 7 different yardage choices, providing golfers of every level a good test of their game.  From the tips at approximately 6300 yards, the course puts a premium on acuracy off the tee.  Narrow fairways bordered by mature hardwoods and the creek make club selection and shot-making imperative.  The creek is in play on 13 of 18 holes.  The greens are quick, elevated and generally well guarded by greenside bunkers that are strategically placed to catch errant shots.

After pre-booking (416-621-2260) members can register at the Pro Shop on arrival and sign a green fee chit for themselves and their guest.  Members can bring a maximum of 3 guests per game.  Please contact the University Club for further details and visit the Markland Wood site: www.marklandwood.com for course rules and dress code regulations.
